We would like to congratulate all the parishioners at Sacred Heart Parish who came to celebrate the Feast Day of the parish’s patron last Friday June 7th (the Feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus). Jesus Christ is truly presence in the Eucharist when we celebrate this mystery and we receive His love and peace of which we share with each other by reaching out to others in our parish community. We congratulated the newly confirmed and their families who joined us last Wednesday night for the big celebration with Archbishop Peter Sartain at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. It was a joyful celebration for our regional parishes. We thank the core team who assisted us with the Confirmation program this year. We also thank the parents who assisted their children to receive this sacrament; and catechists and teachers who taught our program this year. May the Lord continue to bless upon our regional parishes!

We had a wonderful celebration with the Vietnamese Catholic Community of Pierce County to honor the Lady of La-Vang and the patron St. Joseph the Worker of the Vietnamese Catholic Community at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. It was a wonderful celebration that we had within our regional parishes. We had a joyful Youth Mass at St. Ann’s Catholic Church last Saturday. We had youth activities after the Eucharistic celebration. The Youth core team and the teens had so much fun when they celebrated the Resurrection of Our Lord and many youth members participated in the liturgical ministry and the youth activities after the Mass. We had a prayerful retreat with all the Confirmation candidates at St. John of the Woods’ Church. We thank the core team who organized this event.
